GMC has announced that their heavy duty pickup duo – the Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD – will be all new for the 2024 model year, with a release date scheduled for spring of 2023. And while we’re certainly excited about all the new features and capabilities, we’re also quite excited about the all-new 2024 GMC Sierra HD color options, which will include 10 unique colors across both the 2500 and 3500 varieties
Here are the 10 Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD exterior color options:
- Summit White
- Onyx Black
- Cardinal Red
- White Frost Tricoat
- Volcanic Red Tintcoat
- Sterling Metallic
- Downpower Metallic
- Thunderstorm Gray
- Redwood Metallic
- Titanium Rush Metallic
Only four of the available 10 colors are being repurposed from the former 2023 model. Those include Summit White, Onyx Black, Cardinal Red and White Frost Tricoat. The other six are completely new colors, though they do share a similar palette to the 2023 options, which included just 9 options.
The colors that will be discontinued from 2023 include: Pacific Blue Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic, Forest Metallic, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Cayenne Red Tintcoat. Those will be replaced by the various tintcoat and shinier metallic options listed above, including Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Sterling Metallic, Downpower Metallic, Thunderstorm Gray, Redwood Metallic and Titanium Rush Metallic.
GMC has shared that both Downpower Metallic and Thunderstorm Gray will have later availability, so if you are interested in either of those color options, you may not be able to take advantage of them during the immediate spring release date. We would expect availability to open up later in the fall.
While there are 10 avilable exterior color options, on the inside there will be just two. That includes Jet Black with perforated, leather-appointed front seat trim, as well as a Dark Walnut/Slate, which will offer perforated, leather-appointed front outboard seating positions. Both of the colors pair nicely with the wider range of exterior colors whether you opt for the brighter whites or the darker metallics.
