The GMC Terrain is available in four unique trim level combinations which start with the entry-level SLE, and move up to the SLT, AT4 (peak off-road performance) and higher-end, feature-filled Denali. Each offers up a unique skillset and slightly different designs to set them apart. Regardless of trim, you’ll get a few of the standard must-haves, including driver assistance features, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, both of which are controlled through the touchscreen infotainment system.

New for the 2024 model year are two brand-new paint colors: Riptide Metallic and Downpour Metallic, both of which help the SUV stand out and shimmer in the sun with the reflective, metallic qualities. With the two new options, the total swatches jump up to seven available paint colors. Inside, there are two color options (light and dark) that help to highlight the spacious, comfortable and feature-filled interior.

Under the hood, you’ll find a turbocharged, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine as standard equipment. It comes paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission that helps to smooth out the ride, and you’ll also have the option of front or all-wheel drive. The latter, when combined with the traction and stability control available through the Off-Road mode, helps you to tackle a variety of terrains, while giving you an elevated driving experience that allows the Terrain to lean into every twist and turn with ease.
