Think of the Bronco as Ford’s answer to the Jeep Wrangler. It’s a boxy, yet stylish off-road machine that focuses on blazing trails, while also offering a more refined on-road experience that makes it versatile, but still extremely practical. With so many unique features and abilities, the Bronco is far from being a one-trick pony – in fact it’s quickly becoming one of the most popular new models in the Ford stable.
If you’re ready to ride the Bronco, we can help to get you in the saddle here at Glenn Polk Auto. Start by checking out our inventory, or pay us a visit in the Gainesville and Cooke County area to see it in person.
Last year, the Bronco was offered in eight unique trims, but Ford has tacked on yet another two to take the total to 10. That includes the entry-level Base trim, as well as the Badlands, Heritage, Everglades and Raptor. As you work your way through the trims, the looks of the Bronco change along with its abilities. For example, the higher-end, performance-driven trims take on a much beefier, aggressive stance.
Found in the nose of most trims is either a 2.3-liter four-cylinder, or a 2.7-liter V6. Both engines limit size, but offer plenty of power to fuel off-road capabilities. The former manages 300 horsepower while the latter maxes out at 330 hp. Both send power to all four wheels to assist with off-road performance, but to maximize on-road experience as well. For a smoother ride, a 10-speed automatic transmission is standard equipment, though a seven-speed manual can also come bolted to the four-cylinder motor.
If you’re looking for a bit more in terms of strength, you’ll find it in the Raptor, which takes power and off-road capabilities to new heights. The Raptor comes equipped with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 that is capable of producing as much as 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. As expected from the Raptor nameplate, the more vicious Bronco also comes outfitted with added off-road features with a bold look to match.
With so many available trim levels and a multitude of options that are available throughout each of them, fully wrangling the 2023 Ford Bronco is best done in person. And that’s where we come in.
