It has a direct-acting mechanical bucket valvetrain. This engine is paired with an eight-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with Start-Stop technology. Further, it comes standard with a front-wheel drivetrain. An Intelligent AWD with All-Wheel Drive Disconnect is also available with this engine. The 2.7-liter DOHC 24-valve EcoBoost® V6 engine has an output of 335 hp and a torque rating of 380 lb.-ft. It has a hydraulic compensating lash adjuster drivetrain. Further, it is combined with a seven-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with Start-Stop. This engine comes standard with an Intelligent AWD with All-Wheel Drive Disconnect.
